After nearly seven years in management and a passion for skincare and fitness since high school, he decided to embark on a path in between, uniting both worlds: health and beauty. He was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and recently moved to San Diego, California, where he discovered it was the perfect place to open his studio.

Cosmetologist Alejandro Díaz is the owner and director of Athenas Skin. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Santa María University and later attended Escuela Estudios Superiores Avanti. He earned a Master's degree in International Medical Cosmetology and Dermatology from Grupo Esneca Formación.

After completing his cosmetology studies, he initially worked as a cosmetologist at Athenas Spa, where he managed the center for six years. In January 2025, Athenas Skin was born as a different, attractive solution with a much clearer purpose: to have more direct, clear, and precise communication with new and current patients, who need not only effective non-invasive treatments but also tools, tips, and protocols for both facial and body skin care. Cosmetologist Alejandro continues to improve his knowledge and training in aesthetics by attending conferences and courses to hone his skills.

Alejandro enjoys spending his time outside the spa working out at the gym, taking care of his body, soul, and spirit, as well as spending time with his three dogs, Diego, Lady, and Kira. Fun fact: Athenas Skin owes its name to the goddess Athenas, a goddess in Greek mythology associated with wisdom, war, justice, craftsmanship, and the protection of heroes.
